Manchester United fans got a brief glimpse of what a three-time Champions League.Pedro smashed in Barcelona's Super Cup winner.
World Cup and European Championship winner could do last night as
It
could well have been the 28-year-old's last game for the European
champions and although he will not be signed in time to face Aston Villa
on Friday night, it is looking increasingly likely United have Pedro in
their line-up this month.
There are other unresolved issues for United, though. Sergio Ramos is still yet to sign a new Real Madrid contract and David de Gea is still a United player - for now at least.
But, as Louis van Gaal
said, these are exciting times for United (even if the football isn't).
They have won their opening game, a Friday night at Villa Park awaits
and then it's Champions League football next week.
