Man United keeper David De Gea hails Arsenal’s Petr Cech on Twitter

Despite having nearly five million followers on Twitter, David De Gea has not Tweeted much during the summer transfer window.

Constantly linked with Real Madrid, with just one year remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford, De Gea has very much kept a low profile on social media in recent weeks.
A birthday message to Ander Herrera and farewell Tweet to Rafael, who joined Lyon, are the sum of De Gea’s activities on Twitter in August.
With a move to Real Madrid still possible, De Gea is very much in no-mans land for at least another week, especially with Sergio Romero keeping three clean sheets in three Premier League matches.
On Monday night, De Gea hailed Cech on Twitter but used the Arsenal keeper’s Twitter handle first, so only users who followed both custodians could see.
Cech was outstanding for the Gunners, particularly in the first-half with a couple of incredible saves from Christian Benteke and Philippe Coutinho.
The new Arsenal keeper made 8 saves in the match and is clearly over his last Emirates appearance, the error-filled display against West Ham…
